This knowledge was extended during the production of an accessibility checklist that I produced for a large redesign project where I was also tasked with overseeing the delivery of a 3rd party search tool from an accessibility perspective.
I have a good understanding of the W3C's accessibility checkpoints both from a technical and practical implementation point of view.
I have found that it is important for an organisation to decide on it's fundamental position with regards to website accessibility during the early planning stages of a project. I am happy to be involved in this process to ensure the formulation of a robust accessibility policy.
